The combination of his Ghanaian roots and United States upbringing, organically nurtured Nana Yaw Ameyaw-Sakyi’s unique perspective on life. His family encouraged him to use education and sports as an outlet to express himself and he gained a special appreciation for connecting with people from all different backgrounds and cultures.
